What is non-medical home care?

Non-medical home care focuses on helping individuals with daily living activities such as personal care, companionship, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands. It does not include medical or nursing services.

Who can benefit from LoveCare’s services?

Our services are ideal for seniors, individuals recovering from illness or surgery, and anyone who needs extra help to live safely and comfortably at home.

What services do you offer?

We offer companionship, personal care assistance, meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication reminders, transportation and errands, mobility assistance, respite care, and specialized non-medical support for conditions such as Alzheimer’s, dementia, and Parkinson’s.

Do you provide medical or nursing care?

No. LoveCare is a non-medical home care provider. We do not provide nursing services, medical treatments, or clinical care.

Are your caregivers trained and screened?

Yes. All caregivers are carefully selected, screened, and held to high standards to ensure safe, reliable, and compassionate care.

Can care be customized to my needs?

Absolutely. Every client receives a personalized care plan based on their unique needs, preferences, and schedule.

Do you offer short-term and long-term care?

Yes. We offer both short-term and long-term care depending on your situation and needs.

How do I get started with LoveCare?

You can contact us by phone or through our website to schedule a consultation. We will discuss your needs and create a care plan that works for you.

How often can a caregiver visit?

Care can be scheduled as needed, from a few hours a week to full-day or daily support, depending on availability and your care plan.

Can I change or cancel services if my needs change?

Yes. Care plans are flexible and can be adjusted as your needs change. We work with families to make scheduling changes as smoothly as possible.

How quickly can services start?

In many cases, services can begin within a short time after the initial consultation, depending on caregiver availability and your needs.

Do you provide care in assisted living or only at home?

We primarily provide care in clients’ homes, but in some cases we may also provide companion or personal care services in assisted living or similar settings, depending on the situation.

How do you ensure quality and safety of care?

We maintain high standards through strict screening, compliance, and oversight, including:

  • Bonded, licensed, and insured
  • DOJ and FBI background checks
  • TB testing
  • Clean DMV driving records for caregivers who provide transportation
  • Registered with the California Home Care Services Bureau

In addition, we focus on careful caregiver selection, personalized care plans, and ongoing communication with clients and families.
